“Thus, though we cannot make our sun/Stand still, yet we will make him run.”

I was thinking about traveling in the TARDIS, about the fact that you can travel a million years in seconds, you could write a novel then be back in time for tea. Traveling in the TARDIS would seem to give the Doctor and his companions incredible control over time but it cannot stop them from aging. That brought to mind these lines from a poem by Andrew Marvell. They describe life with the Doctor perfectly, I think.

  1. These lines from the poem Rose by Nichole Baptista capture exactly ‘WHO’ (hint hint) my favorite fandom character is.

Rose oh rose, what must I do
Without you here I feel so blue
Rose oh rose, come back to me
I need your beauty to set me free

Can you guess who it is?
