Our members are incredibly creative, imaginative, and talented. Here at Grey Havens YA, we like to encourage one another to brainstorm, go off on tangents, doodle, and explore the depths of our imaginations. Today we want to share with you a small sampling of art created by some of our own. We hope you enjoy. Remember, being a nerd is not about what you love, it’s about how you love it!
One of our talented members drew this dragon after being inspired during discussion of The Hobbit:
Tolkien art by one of our lovely artists:
We have a couple My Little Pony pictures by one of our creative Bronies. The first is human pony art of a background pony. The second was doodled during one of our discussions. See below:
To conclude our first art post, we have one more delightful drawing doodled during discussion (wow, try saying that five times fast!):
We are excited to continue sharing our imagination with you in the future!
Question: Do you like to doodle during class or other activities? What do you like to draw? Send us an owl to tell us about it! (Comment below.)
I doodle ALL the time during class… except art and sometimes science-my teachers don’t like it. I usually draw human sketches, usually about whatever it is we’re talking about, or ponies.

Thank you for commenting! I think doodling helps with concentration. I doodle in my journal all the time, mostly drawing around the words I’ve written. I wish I knew how to draw ponies! 🙂

Who doesn’t love doodling during class? It helps me concentrate. I love to draw just about anything, except people.

I use to doodle a little bit, but I got bored because the only good thing I could draw was some version of pac-man

These are amazing! Also to answer the question, I doodle all the time in class. I mostly doodle abstract I have no idea what they are things. Luckily none have come to life, yet.
